Accessibility

We consider accessibility an important part of providing a website that can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities. Our goal is to provide clear, comfortable and accessible use of the content and information presented on the website.

The website has been developed and made accessible with reference to recognized web accessibility principles and the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568 at Level AA. In addition to the accessibility adjustments implemented on the website, manual accessibility testing was carried out on both desktop and mobile devices.

Accessibility adjustments implemented on the website

As part of the website accessibility work, the following adjustments and tests were implemented, among others:

  • Clear page structure and an organized heading hierarchy.
  • Readable text and color contrast designed to support clear reading.
  • Alternative text descriptions (alt text) for meaningful images.
  • Keyboard navigation throughout the website.
  • Logical navigation order using Tab and Shift + Tab.
  • Clear visual indication of elements receiving keyboard focus.
  • Frequently Asked Questions components can be opened and closed using the keyboard.
  • The image gallery can be operated using the keyboard.
  • When an enlarged gallery image is opened, keyboard focus moves into the image dialog and remains there until it is closed.
  • Enlarged images can be closed using the close button or the Esc key.
  • After an enlarged image is closed, keyboard focus returns to the element from which the image was opened.
  • The main video includes an accessible control for pausing and playing the video.
  • When a user chooses to pause the video, it remains paused until the user chooses to play it again.
  • An accessible text description has been provided for the main visual content shown in the video.
  • For users who have enabled the Reduce Motion preference on their device, the video does not start automatically.
  • The 3D model includes an accessible description and appropriate interaction controls.
  • The 3D model also respects the Reduce Motion preference and does not rotate automatically when this preference is enabled.
  • On mobile devices, interaction with the 3D model is enabled only after the user chooses to activate it, helping to prevent interference with normal page scrolling.
  • The website is adapted for use on desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones.
  • The website was tested at browser zoom levels of up to 500%, while maintaining readability and usability on the pages tested.
  • Manual testing was carried out using VoiceOver on an iPhone, including headings, links, buttons, the video and gallery components.

Media content

The website includes images, a video and a 3D model presenting the chair and demonstrating its use. Appropriate alternative text or accessible descriptions have been provided for key visual content according to the type of media.

The main video is presented without sound and contains no spoken content. It can be paused and played using a dedicated control.

Accessibility testing

In addition to the accessibility adjustments implemented on the website, manual testing was carried out for keyboard navigation, focus order and focus visibility, opening and closing interactive components, browser zoom up to 500%, the Reduce Motion preference, and VoiceOver on an iPhone.

The tests performed were completed successfully.
